  1. A Government servant holding a substantial part of a clerk was promoted in the officiating capacity. Subsequently he was demoted on the grounds of unsatisfactory work due to conviction on the grounds of misconduct. He wants to challenge the validity of the order. And the ground & he was reduced in rank without giving a reasonable opportunity. Advise the petitioner.
  2. The Governor of Tamilnadu has promulgated ordinance for periods ranging from 1 to 5 years without getting them replaced by the Act of legislative. Is re promulgation of ordinance valid.
