  2. What do you understand by 'Private defence'? When & how the right of private defence is justified?

Answer any ONE of the following questions. (1 X 7 = 7 Marks)

  1. "X" Instigates 'y' to murder 'A'. 'y' refused to do so. Is 'x' guilty of any offence.
  2. 'A' voluntarily burns a valuable document belonging to 'B' intending to cause wrongful loss to 'B'. Has 'A' committed any offence?
