  1. Explain about vicarious liability. How far the state is liable for the acts committed by its' servants.
  2. Give a detailed note on strict liability. Explain the rule in case law REYNOLDS VS FLETCHER.

Part- C

Answer any ONE of the following questions. (1 X 7 = 7 Marks)

  1. The plaintiff mine was flooded with water when his neighbor dug a well on his land. The defendant engaged in dependent contractor who worked carefully. How far the defendant is liable ?
  2. 'A' takes 'B' coat on hire. 'A' gives that coat to an auctioneer for sale. How far 'A' is liable.
